A strange white insect has shown up on my Sarracenia. I noticed what appeared to be spider webs appearing on numerous pitchers. On closer inspection, there were a couple of white insects in the web. Not sure if this is something come to eat my pitcher plants. Then again, I've spotted them trapped inside 2 pitchers, so perhaps they are just new prey items. Whatever they are, they really light up bright with the pencam lights.
The video below shows one of them trapped with a fly in a S. Abandoned Hope. Watch it try to get past the zone 2-3 boundary. Sorry. Slippery when wet.
