HUGE Blobs in S. Leucophylla

OK the blobs haven't grown bigger, but the population in this S. Leucophylla pitcher is huge.

I don't know how or why this happened, but the population of the mites is unusually large. They are everywhere in Zone 3 some in Zone 2. They are even hanging out around the lip of the pitcher.

Its possible the population explosion is a response to a large amount of prey in Zone 4. Unfortunately, this pitcher narrows higher than previous pitchers and prevents the pencam from getting to the bottom of the pitcher.
