Blobs on a penny. This is the Lincoln Memorial on the back of a penny. Note the US Mint put Abe Lincoln in the Lincoln Memorial. There are 3 blobs on the steps below Abe. And there are a couple to the left of Abe as well.
I was inspired by this excellent review of mites. The author put mites on pennies, grains of sand and other things for perspective.
I had just recorded in the Leucophylla with a huge blob population. I looked on the adege of the pencam and saw a number of tiny white blobs on the tip. I managed to transfer a few to get this picture.
