Check out the compound eyes on this trilobite I got at the rock show. I asked to see the smallest and coolest thing in stock and this fossil did not disappoint. I can’t imagine what life would look like seeing through dozens of calcite lenses. Perhaps the trilobite might wonder how we get by with only 2 eyes.
